Meeting with the representatives of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Bonn Office

Director of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Bonn Office-  Prof. Dr. Keiichi Kodaira and the Deputy Director Yuriko Nishizaki visited Georgia as part of Tbilisi Science and Innovation Festival.  On September 16, 2016 an introductory meeting between the JSPS Bonn office representatives and Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation (SRNSF) Director General took place in SRNSF Conference hall. Dr. Keiichi Kodaira and Yuriko Nishizaki introduced various JSPS initiatives that invite Georgia’s researchers to do collaborative research with the Japanese scientists, to get involved in mobility schemes and opportunities. It was highlighted that a special online tool  http://researchmap.jp might help Georgia’s researchers to search their respective collaborators in Japan.

Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) was founded in 1932. It is one of the oldest organizations in Japan supporting the development of science.
