On October 4, 2018 Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mr. Mikheil Batiashvili introduced new Director General of SRNSFG, Mr. Zviad Gabisonia.

Zviad Gabisonia is PhD of Law sciences and a graduate of University of Hamburg, University of Bremen and University of Bonn. Mr. Gabisonia has completed internship programs of several universities and institutions, including: Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Hamburg Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law and research institutions of private international law. He has been student of scholarship program at Hamburg Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law.

Prof. Zviad Gabisonia holded several academic positions in Georgian higher educational institutions. Currently he is professor of Georgian – American University, Ilia State University, Tbilisi Open Teaching University and Georgian Technical University. He is an author of 5 books and 30 scientific works.
