Georgian Studies Seasonal School – 2016

The winning project of SRNSF programme ‘Georgian Studies Seasonal School 2016’ was officially open at Tbilisi State University. The project is titled: ‘The Knight in the Panther’s Skin comments based on modern Rustvelology research’. Selected participants got acquainted with the seasonal school content and traveled to Misaktsieli for attending an intensive training course organized at Kapiloni Hotel. Lectures are delivered by the leading specialist of various educational institutions:  Georgian Studies specialist from Japan, Tokio University lecturer – Yasuhiro Kojima, Ilia State University professor – Levan Gigineishvili and Tbilisi State University professors – Rismag Gordeziani, Darejan Tvaltvadze, Elguja Khintibidze, Tamar Paichadze, Damana Melikishvili, Ketevan Sikharulidze, Giorgi Otkhmezuri, Zaza Khintibidze and Ketevan Khutsishvili. On February 29, project closing and participants’ award ceremony will take place.

Seasonal School aims at attracting young personnel in science, particularly those who are focused on Georgian studies, to advance their knowledge and to introduce latest research. The project is targeted to attracting stakeholders from various regions of Georgia.
