SRNSFG announces the 2024 joint call of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TUBITAK) and the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia

Aim of the call:
The aim of the call is to deepen cooperation between Georgia and Türkiye in the field of science through the implementation of joint scientific research projects of the two countries, to promote cooperation between groups of scientists of higher educational institutions and scientific research centers.

Call administration schedule:
- Electronic registration of projects in the TUBITAK electronic system - from November 18, 2024 to February 18, 2025;
- Electronic registration of projects in GMUS - from November 18, 2024 to February 18, 2025, 6 p.m.;
- Submission of an application for participation to the foundation's office - from February 19 to February 21, 2025, 5 p.m.;
- Determination of project compliance with the program and call conditions - February/March;
- Evaluation of projects by the commission/announcement of the winning projects - March/April/May.
Group Online Consultation Meetings:
November 29 and December 6, 2024 – 11:00 a.m., remotely online via the Teams platform.
The joint call is administered based on the following regulatory documents:
Decree of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia;
Decree of the General Director at SRNSFG;
Applicants are expected to submit the following documentation in the Grants Management United System (GMUS):
a) Call Conditions (Annex 1);
b) General Information About the Project in Georgian and English (Annex 2, to be provided at the time of project registration in GMUS);
c) Project Abstract in Georgian and English (Annex 3, uploaded to GMUS as a PDF document);
d) Project Proposal in Georgian and English (Annex 4, uploaded to GMUS as a PDF document);
f) Project Implementation time-frame in Georgian and English (Annex 5, completed in GMUS);
g) Project Budget in Georgian and English (Annex 6, completed in GMUS);
h) Professional Biography of Project Participants – CVs in Georgian and English (Annex 7, downloaded from GMUS profile);
i) Letter of Co-Funding Commitment (if applicable) in Georgian and English – uploaded to GMUS as a PDF document (Annex 8);
j) Project Application Form (Annex 9, generated in GMUS);
k) Budget classifier (Annex 10).
