Georgian-German Day of Science
Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation and Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) of Germany organized the Georgian-German Day of Science. The event took place at Tbilisi State University, on September 19.
Participants of the Georgian-German Day of Science discussed state of the art and future cooperation perspectives between the two countries and highlighted successful projects implemented by German and Georgian teams.
The German delegation was represented by Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) Germany, Helmholtz Association (HGF), Leibniz Association, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft (FhG), German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ), Volkswagen Foundation, Helmholtz associations and leading scientific research institutions.
The second part of Georgia-Germany Science Day offered bilateral meetings (Market Opportunities) to interested stakeholders. Research oriented institutions of Georgia as well as |Germany disseminated information on their activities and major opportunities. The meeting format allowed attendants to discuss future cooperation related issues.
